The Hobgoblin Pub in Bath St James Parade

Known to the locals as "The Obgoblin" this is a great pub if you like your rock music and beer. Good jukebox even if they do turn it off at closing time sharp (my only real grumble about it). Right across the road from Bath college quite a student haunt as well as a good mix of locals and a few tourists. Funny thing about this public house is it seems to turn up all over Bath. My friend Roger and I on visiting were nearly convinced there were at least 3 of them in the city.

Bath Hotels

Still serving the famous Wychwood Brewery's Hobgoblin and Fiddler Elbow to great effect. Both had a good clean flavour to them. Staff and manager were all friendly as were most of the clientele.

They could tell by the Yorkshire accents that we were not locals and still had a laugh with them all. Food is not served here but there is a notice saying they are happy for you to bring you own. I had to get a picture of the building to share with you as it is just a masterpiece really ... you cant miss something that looks like this really can you.
