This is a modern inn with a restaurant, bar and rooms. However it is actually one of the oldest coaching inns in the city. Located in a nice central position in Bath means many main attractions are easy to get to walking. Staff here are at your service and happy to help.
We run a public bar downstairs and a fabulous restaurant for you to enjoy.
Your rooms here will be of a good size. This jas always the case here as we are in the same location as an ancient coaching inn. We have now updated rooms and services to suit the modern traveller. The beds you get here are comfortable and a good size in themselves. The furniture in the room is what you require but, not much more. This is so as to keep the extra space free for you. Rooms decor is also quite simple and modern.
We are in a great spot for those wanting to explore the city centre. Just 3 minutes walk East of us is a lovely starting point for a tour, Queen Square. From here you can go a minute further onto Gay Street and visit the Jane Austen centre. A little further up the hill and you are in the Circus which is about 10 minutes in total (500 yards) from us. From here the Royal Crescent is just around the corner.
In the other direction to the East of us is Bath Abbey and the Roam Baths. In total it will take you about 7 minutes to walk there (approx 700 yards). On the way of courses you will be passing by a host of fabulous shops, cafes and restaurants. You will probably be wonting to check a few of these out as somewhere to eat lunch or dinner. So add a few minutes onto this time.
There are a number of staff that will be available for you when you stay. they are renown for being friendly. They are very willing to help you with any bit of advice you require. In fact you can see them as your local hosts who have invited you to stay with them. They then will give you and idea of how you will be treated. With respect always and with a smile as often as is possible.
