Dating back to the 1890's our home has been refurbished yet we made sure it kept its original elegance and style. Classic decor and tasteful furnishings make this a most welcoming establishment for all of our guests. Your room will be one named after a classic English writer and there's a sense of home wherever you look. Enjoy a pleasant morning reading in our Drawing Room or chatting with friends over morning coffee in the Conservatory.

Some of our rooms have a splendid view of the gardens. Whether you have a view of them or not these seven acres are here for you to enjoy. During summer a quiet walk before breakfast or after tea is welcomed by most.

Bath has just about everything you could possibly imagine to keep everyone happy and interested. First and foremost it is famous for its spas and its beautiful Abbey so spoil yourself with some hot spring treatments and then surround yourself in peace and tranquillity and just "be" a while.

Stroll along the Georgian streets and enjoy the multitude of choices in shopping - main stream and some more select and salubrious.

Those who love the cultural side of life can enjoy many of the museums - the Museum of Costume that celebrates 400 years of fashion is highly interesting. The Jane Austen Centre - the most famous resident of the city is filled with her life story and works and Sally Lunn's House and Museum is the oldest building in the city and the perfect place for that cappuccino chat and rest.

Bad stuff: That the grounds were not ready yet. But can't wait to go back when they are.

Overall: I highly recommend this B&B. It is a short walk from the main areas of Bath. The staff and owner were great at giving information about the local city and surrounding areas.
