The personal service of this small establishment mean staff are friendly and hospitable without being overly casual. Comfortable and clean en-suite and standard rooms with shared facilities mean a price that you can afford. A full and hearty or light traditional breakfast is included in our room prices. We also cater for many varied specialised diets in our kitchens so please don't hesitate to ask in advance of your stay with us.

Good stuff: A great location - 5 minutes walk to town and Royal Crescent. Extremely clean with a great bath

Bad stuff: The breakfast was expensive and should have been included in the price rather than extra

Overall: A good hotel for couples or for those who are looking for peace and quiet. It's extremely close to town without all the noise, and was very clean. I would recomend eating breakfast out as it would be cheaper.

Overall: Lack of stop for unloading and overnight parking is a disadvantage for the hotel.

Good stuff: Convenient location for our visiting our daughter. Very friendly landlady.

Bad stuff: Could do with modernising for the price they charge.

Good stuff: The proprietors were extremely hospitable; when they saw that my sister-in-law and I had difficulty climbing the 3 flights of stairs to our original room they changed us to a family room on the ground floor with no change of price.

Bad stuff: More towel rods and a rod in the shower for safety, and bath soap, but in general it was very good value for the money, considering that we were in Bath.

Overall: We had expected a bit higher standard but it was true to its category. Breakfast was excellent. The doors could perhaps be a bit sound-proofed; when people came to their rooms nearby it was as if they were in our room, but once inside we couldn't hear a thing.

Good stuff: Great location, convinient car park behind hotel, staff were friendly and helpful with ideas on what to do etc, good size room.

Bad stuff: not a lot of room for suitcases, but manageable.

Overall: Very friendly staff, kindly waited up late for our arrival, gave us info on local attractions. Excellent breakfast - more than expected. Excellent location to local sights.
