Good stuff: Adequate for the price (good value for money)

Bad stuff: Just a little cramped (e.g. very small wash basin!)

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Really excellent breakfasts and friendly staff, who were very helpful.

Good stuff: It had everything you needed, even down to a sewing kit!!, also that you were able to bring take aways back and use the dining room to eat them.

Bad stuff: Everything was fine.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: My partner and myself were greeted by Julie who was very friendly and helpful, she has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world, especially the fresh fruit salad with strawberries and mango !!. We will be going back next year - that says it all !!. Excellent value for money, bus stop right outside that takes you to centre of Bath.

Good stuff: Immaculate room with lots of personal touches e.g. video library and magazines left in the room

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is in a convenient location on a bus route to Bath. Room was spacious and clean with additional features such as hairdryer which you would not normally expect in a B&B. Owners were friendly and helpful, breakfast good.

Good stuff: The room was great! we stayed in the small double, it was a fine size! The Breakfast was amazing! The hosts were so friendly. Don't worry about the coulours of the rooms...ours was definitely not pink.

Bad stuff: nono

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: A little mix up with the check in, aside from that though, the stay was perfect...we couldn't have asked for more. The walk into town is lovely, and you can go right along the canal...it is a little ways out of the city though, but there is a bus, and the taxi costs about £6, which isn't too bad.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: We really enjoyed our stay at Forres House. The room was small but quaint. It felt cosy and homely and the people made you feel welcome. The room included an iron, ironing bored, hairdryer, television and selection of videos. The en-suite facillity was definatley a bonus.

Good stuff: clean and beautifully presented.friendly and informative hostess.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: we travelled as a group of 4. 2 adults from England and 2 from Ottawa Canada. We were so pleased to have introduced our Canadian friends to the pleasure of bed and breakfast accomodation, and could not have chosen a better place. The owner was delightful and nothing was too much trouble. We would all recommend this place to anyone.

Good stuff: Breakfast was fantastic. Bedroom spacious and had extremely comfortable bed.

Bad stuff: Was a fairly long walk to centre of bath.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The Bedroom was bright and lovely and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Althogh the en-suite was small, it was very clean and bright. There was also a video recorer in the room, and in reception you could take your pick from a huge choice of videos, great for people staying on their own. The owners of the B&B were very friendly, and gave us several ideas of places to visit in Bath. Although it was a fairly long walk to the town. There is a bus stop right outside the B&B which takes you right into the city centre.
