Good value in a good location with comfortable beds and friendly staff. Just what you required for you holiday or business needs.

Good stuff: the bathroom was clean

Bad stuff: everything was a nightmare the welcome from the owner down to the stains on the bed linen, thick dust on the telly and light fittings, the room had not been cleaned in a very long time, i came away feeling ill due the constant dust and damp smell in the room,from my photos you can see some of the proof, i slept in my clothes and cried for most of the night.breakfast was 2 yoghurts that had been left out for 2 days, old banana and cereal in boxes with dust on, of course we left without breakfast.

Overall: upsetting and distressed a surprise for my husband turned into a nightmare, he had heart surgery last november and wanted a relaxing 2 days away,the hotel was nothing like the photos advertising it.

Good stuff: Friendly Staff

Bad stuff: Very poor standard of cleanliness. I am not sure that some of the electric cabling that went across rooms would meet health & safety requirements. Lots of cobwebs & dust.

Overall: Very dis-satisfied with the standard of the accomodation.

Overall: I would stay there again

Good stuff: close to city centre and managed to book a car park space but there were only 2 so we were lucky. Breakfast was o.k but egg was not runny.

Bad stuff: carpet was dirty room could have done with a good clean and a repaint.Everything was dusty including the plastic flowers on the breakfast tables. Food was fried not grilled.No-one there when we arrived note on wall told us our room number but we had to sus out the car parking arrangements for ourselves. Would not stay here again.

Overall: not very good

Good stuff: The hotel was very comfortable, clean and the hotelier very friendly and a very nice breakfast.

Bad stuff: As it was a very hot night we had the window open but unfortunately our room was on the front of the house and it was very noisy, cars going by all night.

Overall: The hotel is very close to the centre of town which was great and very convenient. The hotelier very kindly let us keep our car at the hotel whilst we went shopping in the morning.

Good stuff: The efficient,friendly and helpful gentleman who provided all the service. The breakfast was promptly served, good and nicely presented.The bed was comfortable and bedlinen fresh and clean.

Bad stuff: The bedcover was grimy,the bathroom not ensuite as expected and the shower attachment,the old-fashioned rubber sort, would not stay on the tap when the water came through. This let very hot water come gushing out onto my feet, which was dangerous.In effect, it was not possible to have a shower.

Overall: The location is excellent for reaching the centre but the traffic made it noisy even at night.

Good stuff: very good value for the money i paid, especialy dew to the fact that it was the cheapest offer i found

Bad stuff: i was very happy with the accomadation, it exceeded my expectations

Overall: As ive said the hotel was realy nice, it gave a good feel for the place, the staff were friendly. and compitent. the hotel was clean and efficient, the breakfast was very nice too. my only point of imoroval is to the website:it took me a lng time to find you fater running through google for a while eventualy you popped up. make youself more available and easy to find,as many other websites that are not as user friendly beat you to it. plus add a map showing the hotle location in regard to the city ,ain attraction area, and detailed photos of the hotel as much as possible.
