Well situated in the Lower Weston area of Bath close to Queen Square, the Jane Austen Centre, The Circus and the Royal Crescent. This is a small well run bed and breakfast with a great personable host. This place is very well rated by guests for a number of good reasons.
You could not get a better located bed and breakfast than Cornerways. Firstly we are easy to find on the city end of Upper Bristol Road (A4). That will mean you are about 2 minutes walk (176 yards) West of the famous Queens Square. Just across the square is Gay Street where the Jane Austen Centre is located. Also a little further up Gay Street and strait on (no pun intended) is the world renown Circus. In total that little tour should take you about 5 minutes to walk along its 550 yards distance.
There is one more main attraction, the Royal Crescent, that is on the doorstep here but, there is a shortcut to it from the front door here! In total it is 7 minutes walk from here to the Northwest along some small streets behind us. So out of the front door you turn right up Upper Bristol Road. First right takes you up a little bushy back lane. Take your first left behind the houses and continue along here for 350 yards looking for the small Bath stone entrance to the right. Go through this gate and pass the car park on your right. This footpath leads you into Royal Victoria Park. Follow the path to the right at the Bandstand and continue up and along. Cross over Royal Avenue and continue on the path until you reach the Royal Crescent which will be on your left when you reach the road.
There are only 2 rooms available here thus we are quite a small establishment. There are a number of advantages to being small. The main one is if you have a good host, you will have a good stay. By all account your host here is very friendly and helpful indeed. All you have to do is ask.
Rooms here are very clean and very comfy have no fear. You will be able to get a great nights sleep.
