Good stuff: accommodation was very good with excellent views over the cotswold hills
Bad stuff: this hotel is badly in need of a proper bar. the only bar available is part of the bistro and not very comfortable
Overall: this hotel is lovely and the staff our excellent. the food in the bistro was very good indeed as was the service and very reasonably priced. the only downside is as previously mentioned is the lack of a decent bar. after dinner there is really nowhere to go for a quite drink
Good stuff: Lovley setting and views from the hotel were excellent
Bad stuff: Room had a musty/damp smell.
Thought the bar area was totally out of keeping with the rest of the hotel. Did not like the fact that you had to walk outside of the main building to your room and the bar facilities. Okay in the summary but would be a pain in the winter if raining.
