A lovely terrace cottage placed well in a lovely, peaceful, suburban area of Bath called Combe Down.
The quiet area that we are located in means that you will be assured of a great nights sleep here. Having said that it doesn't make getting into Bath difficult at all. The is a bus stop a few minutes walk from us. Buses from here get you into town, taking e around 15 minutes. On foot this 1.8 miles distance will take about 35 minutes to the train station.
Rooms here are bright and airy. They also have an absolute minimum of clutter within, to maximise the space you have available to you. Kept clean on a daily basis we know that is what you expect and we are here to make sure it happens. Staying here really is like being an invited guest to the city. You will only really understand that once you have arrived and seen what we are trying to describe to you here.
The walled garden at the back lets you enjoy the light copse of trees that some rooms look out into. It is a true gem of peace and quiet just like a cottage garden should be. In the summer the tranquil nature of this space is an absolute delight.
In the morning you will be delighted with the simple elegance of the open plan breakfast area.
The location has much to offer tourists. We are about 2 miles (3.2 kilometres / 50 minutes walk) from the Roman Baths in the very centre of town. On the way there you will find the train station, a host of fabulous shops, a plethora of great pubs and a good number of splendid restaurants.
Local gasto pub The King William is really worth a mention for luncheon or perhaps evening meal. They have been serving up excellent top rated food for about 10 years now.
