Bailbrook Lodge Hotel Bath 35-37 London Road West Online Booking

Picture of Bailbrook Lodge Hotel

Bailbrook Lodge Bath has lovely views of our lawns and gardens looking out over the Avon valley. Other rooms look out over Bailbrook houses grounds itself, a lovely mansion house that gives you a good idea of what splendour the owners lived in during the Georgian times.

Perfectly situated for that quiet summer stroll as you relax with your Pimms on those warm summer nights. This is a privately owned establishment and as such, we pride ourselves on the services that we know you require and deserve when you are on a trip to remember. Your comfort is our pleasure when you choose to be our guest.

The Lodge is located under 4km North-East of the city centre of Bath. We are easy to find just of of the roundabout where the A4 meets the A46. Alternatively look out for Bathampton Mill or Alice Park and you will be nearby.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Good stuff: Really friendly staff, lovely room, free upgrade!!! Breakfast was really well cooked.

Bad stuff: When we had afternoon tea the bread on sandwiches was dry. Also the mattress was very uncomfortable.

Overall: Really nice experience, spa break was brilliant

Good stuff: The location was excellent with superb grounds. The four poster suite had beautiful decor ( v tastefully done!).We liked the facilities provided. There was a v pleasant ambience about the hotel. Couldn't fault the breakfast that was provided.

Bad stuff: Some of the furniture in the room needed a good dusting. The cutlery was not very clean in the dining room.Would 've liked to check out later (around noon preferably)

Good stuff: The hotel was lovely, the ambience good. The calm helpful staff were of a high standard.

Bad stuff: Waiting every morning for breakfast. Staff tell you to wait in the drawing room but then do not come and get you when a table is free.

Overall: Overall the stay was lovely. The staff efficient and helpful. The free upgrade to the garden suite was a pleasant surprise. The house had character and a cosy feel to it. The only down side was breakfast, having been made to wait 2 mornings, we were dissapointed on the 3rd morning to be told we were too late.

Good stuff: The vast bed

Bad stuff: No bar after 2200, no air conditioning for £150 per night expected some considering the summer temperatures.

Overall: Plesant hotel, but for cost of room thought it would include better bath facilities and not a sink in your room and a shower in a cupboard. Can't get a drink after 2200 if you fancy a night cap or have been driving and fancy chilling out. Tea on arrival in lounge or garden is by request, although it is mentioned when you check in.

Good stuff: The room was fantastic, great views over the gardens and friendly staff!

Bad stuff: Have more breakfast tables. Guests had to wait in the lounge until other guests had finished their breakfast.

Overall: My stay at Bailbrook Lodge hotel was fantastic. I was in two minds on whether to book as I saw bad reviews on the internet. I booked the four poster suite which overlooked the gardens. The room was great! Very clean and lovely decor which suited the house. I found the staff very friendly and informative. I would have no hesitation in staying here again!!
