This outstanding mansion is steeped in heritage. This property appeared to be originally developed for Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley. This gentleman had a title and was also known as the first Duke of Wellington. This house was build to celebrate the historic victory at Waterloo. However local rumour might even have French guests approval. It is said that it was actually built as a country home for his mistress!
The rooms here are absolutely stunning. All of them have a fabulous design and some have stunning, enormous 4 poster beds in them. The ornate nature of the furniture ans surrounds will leave you in awe. You will quite quickly get the feeling that you are in your fantasy country mansion and you are the Lords and Ladies of the manor and why not!

The location you will be staying in with us is about 1.3 miles West (26 minutes walk) of Royal Crescent and 1.8 miles West of Bath Abbey. Also 2 miles or 40 minutes walk West-Northwest of the main train station. There are bus stops either side of the road with a regular service running into town for you.
